Neighboring Jackson United Methodist and Sutter Creek United Methodist existed as two separate churches serving the people of Amador County for 150 years. In May of 2016 the two congregations officially merged to become Creekside United Methodist Church. The congregation meets in the historic building in downtown Sutter Creek that has been serving this community since the days of the California Gold Rush.
We continue to be active in our community. Partnering with other churches and civic groups to improve the lives of people who call this place home. We believe that God is still working and using us to shine light in a weary world. We are an iclusive church, believing that all people are created in the image of our loving God and therefore should be able to find belonging here.
